Sinopse: Durante a era colonial japonesa, Mu Gil e Il Ae são amigos de infância e o primeiro amor um do outro. Contra suas vontades, Mu Gil e Il Ae precisam deixar Hapcheon, Coreia do Sul e ir para Hiroshima, Japão. Lá eles são separados um do outro. Mu Gil é forçado a trabalhar e Il Ae a ganhar a vida fazendo tarefas em um bar. Eles se reencontram, mas a bomba atômica é lançada sobre Hiroshima. Eles tentam se encontrar na cidade em ruínas. Em 2019 na Coreia do Sul, Mu Gil recebe uma carta de aniversário de seu primeiro amor, Il Ae.
